Welcome to Best Life Protocol, and thank you for being here. This marks the beginning of a journey I’m excited to share—a space where we explore what it truly means to live your best life, not just in terms of performance, but in vitality, balance, and longevity.
I’m 52 years old and an ultra endurance runner. I can say, without hesitation, that I’m in the best shape of my life—not just physically, but mentally and spiritually. And that didn’t happen by chance. It came from a deliberate commitment to understanding the science and art of long-term health—and just as importantly, the consistent effort it takes to put that knowledge into practice, day after day.
This blog is about that journey.
At Best Life Protocol, we’ll focus on the three pillars of longevity:
• Diet — what we fuel our bodies with matters. We’ll dive into nutrient-dense foods, superfood alternatives like mesquite (a caffeine-free coffee substitute), and even how to make your own kombucha.
• Exercise — movement is medicine. As an ultra runner, I’ll share my experiences, training approaches, and what endurance sports have taught me about resilience and recovery.
• Sleep — the foundation of restoration and cognitive health, often overlooked but essential for true well-being.
We’ll also explore supplements that support cognitive function and stress resilience, such as lion’s mane mushroom and ashwagandha, as well as practical strategies for mental clarity, emotional balance, and spiritual growth.
